THE HISTORY OF BOMBAY YACHT CLUB (continued)...

UPDATE per Chuck Reynolds...

This past December, the club got a new Commodore, Chuck Reynolds.  Since the club began in June 1983, Chuck is the 3rd Commodore.  “Obviously, this is no short term job.”

Some of these parties have turned into annual events since then.  The Christmas Party is always on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday in December, Superbowl Sunday is the Superbowl Party and the Think Spring party is the last Saturday in March.  The Parade of Lights has been a winner for the club for the last three years.

UPDATED 3/10/99

With six years since our last update, things are running smoothly without much change in our modus operandi. We have a party about every 6 weeks thought the year.  Don’t read the Bi- laws Per Randy Stephens (Commodore 1999)

We do have a new commodore each year, parties are about the same and our goal is still to have as much fun as possible. Our new Logo is “WE JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!”

The dues still remain at $125.00 per year even after 15 years.  No other club offers so much for so little.

Good luck to all and welcome aboard to all new members!
